Finalists will be announced in June - good luck!

Finalists will soon be announced for the M&IT Awards 2022. A massive thank you to all those who canvassed for votes and those who entered the canvassing video competition; the winner will soon be announced.

The information on this page is designed to help you make the most of your canvassing opportunities. Before you start canvassing for the 2023 event, please familiarise yourself with the rules below:

    1. Only UK-based bona-fide event organisers are permitted to vote.

    2. Potential nominees are not permitted to vote for themselves.

    3. Suppliers to the industry are not permitted to vote.

    4. An organisation cannot be voted for in more than three categories.

    5. Votes received from the same person will be excluded.

    6. Potential nominees are not permitted to suggest the names of other organisations for other voting categories.

    7. No cross canvassing between suppliers (e.g venue/caterer) is permitted.

    8. The personal identifier question must be completed on all forms in order for votes to be registered.

    9. Votes must be cast by 29th April 2022 to be registered.

The decision of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) on behalf of the organisers is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

    1. Potential nominees can supply the voting webpage to their clients.

    2. Potential nominees are not permitted to offer their own incentives or gifts to encourage votes (this will be checked by random calls to voters) on any material referencing the M&IT Awards voting and should clearly state that it is the organisers who are offering the incentive prize.

    3. Potential nominees should not infer that they have been nominated in any category in their promotional material.

    4. Potential nominees are permitted to highlight the relevant award category for their organisation in their promotional material.

    5. Potential nominees who have been a previous winner or runner-up are permitted to highlight this fact in their promotional material.

    6. Votes will only be accepted through the online voting form. Hard copy votes will no longer be accepted.

  • Simply direct prospective voters to our online voting page.

How can you canvass for votes?

    1. Each year we create banners that you can use on your promotional activity. Spread the word far and wide by adding them to your websites, emails and social media. Simply download them using the links below.

    2. You will also find the official M&IT Awards logo below, in case you would prefer to create your own artwork. If you would like to refer to the incentive prize in your designs, please ensure that you clearly state it is being offered by M&IT.

  • We want all votes to count, so all canvassing rules can be found above. We're happy to help too - if you would like your promotional material checked by M&IT, please email a copy through to Liz Coleridge.
